Paul Lapointe, the owner of the American Indoor Soccer League’s Massachusetts Twisters, announced today that the club will be hosting it’s third annual “Molly Bish” Night on December 16th, when the Twisters host the New York Hampton Surf at the Eastern States Coliseum.
A portion of the ticket proceeds from that evening’s game will be donated to the Molly Bish “Lifeguard” Foundation, an organization that "promotes child safety through education and prevention". The foundation distributes complimentary child identification kits which contain a photograph and a set of fingerprints that can be used by law enforcement officials should an emergency occur.
The foundation is named for Molly Ann Bish, a 16-year-old girl who was abducted on June 27, 2000 from Comins Pond, MA, where she worked as a lifeguard. The search for Molly went on for almost three years, until it ended on June 9, 2003. She was never found, and there have been no firm leads.

“As a parent myself, there is nothing more important than the protection of my two children,” said Lapointe. “Although we can’t do anything to help Molly now, we need to do as much as we can to prevent something like this from happening again, and the Twisters are proud to do their part to support the Lifeguard Foundation.”
Tickets for the December 16th home opener, as well as all other Twisters games are available through the team office or at the Coliseum the night of the game. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for students. A group rate of $7.00 per ticket is available by contacting the Twisters at (413) 569-0088.
