Twisters Keep Rolling, Defeat Surf 6-2 in Home Opener
The Massachusetts Twisters kept their grip on second place in the American Indoor Soccer League last night with a 6-2 victory over the New York Hampton Surf at the Eastern States Coliseum.
The surprising Twisters, under player/coach Eric DaCosta, now sport a 2-1 record, the first time that the club has been over .500 this late in the season in it’s four year AISL history.
The Twisters will be off for the holidays, returning to the field on December 30th, when they take on the Cincinnati Excite at the Eastern States Coliseum.
The Surf will have an even longer holiday “vacation”, as they return to the field on January 20th, when they host the Twisters at the Southampton Town Recreation Center.
