Twisters Forward Pedro Navarro Named Week 6 AISL Player of the Week
After a strong two goal performance in last Saturday night’s 6-4 Massachusetts Twisters victory over the Cincinnati Excite, first-year Twisters forward Pedro Navarro was named the American Indoor Soccer League’s Player of the Week for the week ending December 31st.
This makes the third straight week that a Twister player has won the weekly award. Paul “the Cat” DelloStritto was named the Player of the Week the previous two weeks that the award was given out.
The previous AISL Players of the Week for this season include:
Week 1-Matt Brienes (CIN)
Week 2-Bato Radoncic (RCK)
Week 3-Ante Cop (RCK)
Week 4-Paul DelloStritto (MAS)
Week 5-Paul DelloStritto (MAS)
The Twisters will return to the field next Saturday night when they will face the Thunder in Rockford at 7:30PM CST. The next day, they will take on the Excite in Cincinnati at 2:30PM EST.
