Twisters add to Corporate Family

Twisters Welcome WMAS, Gold’s Gym, Rumbleseat Restaurant as 2007-08 Sponsors

(Cleveland, OH-September 3, 2007) Bill Bullock, general manager of the 2007 American Indoor Soccer League champion Massachusetts Twisters announced this morning that the club has entered into marketing partnerships with three area businesses.

First, the Twisters would like to welcome the Rumbleseat Bar and Grille, which will be the host for the post-game reception after every Twisters home game. The Rumbleseat is located at 482 Springfield St in Chicopee. Twister’s players will be on hand to meet and greet fans, get autographs and photographs from your favorite players, and talk to them about the game.

"When I walked in I knew this was going to be the place to be" said Bullock "it's going to make such a great atmosphere after the games".

Rumbleseat Bar and Grille owner Billy Stetson is a huge soccer fan and has a great connection with the Twisters already with some of his close friends playing on the team.

Second, the Gold’s Gym located at 1452 Memorial Ave in West Springfield was named the "Official Gym of the Twisters". This Gold’s is located right across the street from the Eastern States Coliseum, the home of the Twisters.

During the season you will be able to catch the Twisters working out getting ready for the upcoming season at the West Springfield Gold’s Gym.

Finally, the Twisters are welcome back WMAS-AM 1450 and WMAS-FM 94.7 as media partners for the season.

Starting in mid-September through the season the Twisters will make weekly appearances on WMAS-AM to update their listeners about upcoming games, appearances in the community, promotions, and more.

"I want to thank WMAS for allowing the Twisters a chance to be able to go on and talk about the work we are doing on and off the field" said Bullock.

During the season WMAS will be giving away on-air family four packs to upcoming Twisters home games, and, for the second straight year, sponsor a night at a Twisters home game to help raise money for their annual fundraising drive for the Children’s Miracle Network.
The Twisters will start on their defense of the 2007 American Indoor Soccer League championship Saturday night, November 3rd when they face the Northern Illinois Rebels at the Lake County Sports Center in Waukegan, IL. The Twisters will open the home portion of the 2007-08 season on December 1st at the Eastern States Coliseum when they host the Rockford Rampage, with kickoff taking place at 7:30pm.
